The Federation of Inline Speed Skating (FISS) is the internationally recognised national governing body for roller skating in the United Kingdom.  FISS is affiliated with BRSF, World Skate and World Skate Europe.

FISS is responsible for the governance of the sport and dedicated to the promotion of its growth in the UK.

We run a number of events throughout the year, including the British National Indoor, Outdoor Track and Marathon Championships (rebranded as the British Inline Marathon), alongside smaller races and our newly launched Road Race Series. Our affiliated Clubs hold Club Level events throughout the year.

Team GB is our pathway dedicated to development of our Skaters to take them into international competitions, including the European and World Championships.

Despite the specified “Inline” used in our name, quad skaters are also accepted at our events.
